Round with Brass Tips in Jatoba, Maple and Ipe |

| The Nunchaku
was considered to be a rice flail, or a horse bridle (similar to a hackamore
bridle used in America). It also became a 4,6 or 8 sided weapon, or a round weapon. The rope or chain was about 4" maximum in length, and depended on use. The overall length was 1" beyond the closed grip and elbow. Some styles had one end longer than the other end. Other styles also used a San Setsu (3 section) or Yon Setsu (4 section). Most people are now used to a 12" or 14" length. We make ours to fit your length, size, diameter, single or double rope. Our shapes are octagonal, round, and round deluxe with brass tips. |
